E & O Ramadan Buffet

一年一度的开斋节又来咯~
第一次参与Ramadan Buffet的Food Review
还是在E&O Hotel,挺特别的
这回介绍的是E&O Ramadan Buffet特有的马来食物哦~
可是不是每一样都会出现在每一天的Ramadan Buffet~

Here comes the month for Muslims to Buka Puasa
This is my very first time joining food review for Ramadan Buffet in E & O~
No doubt it happens to be one part of good memories in my food journey at Penang
This time I am going to make some sharing on the Malay cuisine served in E & O Ramadan Buffet..
However, please noted that not every Malay cuisine shared here will be served in every Ramadan Buffet session, as it is depends on the availability of the food...

Jamuan Buka Puasa (Ramadan Buffet)
Duration: 28 June 2014 - 27 July 2014
Time: 7pm-10.30pm
Price: Sunday - Tuesday RM96++ (Adult)  RM48++ (Child)
         Wednesday - Saturday RM110 ++ (Adult)  RM65++ (Child)

Salam Aidilfitri' Hi Tea
Duration: 28 & 29 July 2014 (Monday & Tuesday)
Time: 12pm - 2.30pm
Price:  RM78++ (Adult)  RM39++ (Child)


Salam Aidilfitri' Buffet Dinner
Duration: 28 & 29 July 2014 (Monday & Tuesday)
Time: 7pm - 10.30pm
Price:  RM110++ (Adult)  RM65++ (Child)


食物Food

开胃菜Appertizer 
Ulam Ulaman, Pasembur, Bergedil, Acar Rampai
Shredded cucumber, Terung Pipit,
Kelabu Taugeh, Kelabu Mango

蛮喜欢马来式的开胃菜...
酸辣的味道搭配脆脆的口感
个人特爱Shredded cucumber & Kelabu Mango~
特别的开胃爽口

佐料Dressing and Condiment
除了照片里有的Budu, Cincalok, Salted egg 和Nam pra
这里的Ramadan Buffet还有提供很多的佐料
例如 sambal belacan, Tempoyak, Pickled Fruit, Salted Fish & Assorted Cracker...

Besides Budu, Cincalok, Salted egg and Nam pra
other dressings are also provided

主菜Main Dishes
E&O Ramadan Buffet提供的都是经典的马来菜式,
有Nasi Briyani, Sambal Tumis Sotong Petai, Beef Serunding,
Udang Lemak Nenas, Kambing masak hitam berlada,
ayam percik padang, Gulai Puyuh Daun Selasih, Ikan Panggang, 
Daging Rendang Tok 等等...
整体上,我个人是很满意这里的主菜
绝对有一定的水准

E&O Ramadan Buffet serves many classic Malay Cuisine
They have Nasi Briyani, Sambal Tumis Sotong Petai, Beef Serunding,
Udang Lemak Nenas, Kambing masak hitam berlada,
ayam percik padang, Gulai Puyuh Daun Selasih, Ikan Panggang, 
Daging Rendang Tok and so on... 
I, personally impressed with the main courses here,
especially their Nasi Briyani and Kambing masak Hitam Berlada...
Their Nasi Briyani's delicate aroma satisfied my taste buds
and it is presented in golden color which is so attractive...
Among all the main dishes, their mutton impressed me the most...
It impressed me from the texture to the flavor..

个人觉得Nasi Briyani的卖相特别吸引人
通常我不会在吃自主餐的时候选择吃饭
可是金黄色的米粒魅力可真不小
每粒米饭都充满着香味
只能说我很喜欢这里的Nasi Briyani
Kambing masak hitam berlada,
Ayam Percik Padang,
Gulai Puyuh Daun Selasih,
Ikan Panggang,
Daging Rendang Tok

不得不称赞这里的羊肉
超级好吃的
羊肉煮得刚刚好
不会太软或太硬
同时还锁住了酱汁
咬下去的时候酱爆在口腔的感觉
真的太棒了~
(p/s:吃了两碗的羊肉~嘻嘻!)

甜点Desserts
Cucuk Udang & Rojak Padang

以上两碟都是最最经典的马来小吃
个人偏爱Rojak Padang多一些
Rojak酱很浓稠
搭配上新鲜的水果
真的很好吃
特别是偏酸的黄梨
搭配上小辣的Rojak酱
味蕾又被再次唤醒~哈哈
新鲜的水果Fresh Tropical Fruits~

Bread

Bubur kacang

椰酱糯米饭 Glutinous rice with coconut milk

这个甜点让我想起了泰国的出名小吃芒果糯米饭
明显的卖相绝对是赢泰国的芒果糯米饭
但是味道上来说还是有待进步
特别是煮糯米时间上的拿捏

马来式糕点 Assorted Kuih



总结Conclusion

食物Food: 8/10
价钱Price:7/10
环境Ambiance: 9/10
服务Service: 8/10
