Haven Delights 新天地

可以这么说，在槟城生活了五年之久，
也非常享受槟城这个美食天堂，
尽管不是每一间、每一档的食物都很好吃，
但至少不会是难吃的...

而今天我要分享的是我在槟城第一次吃到那么难吃的buffet...
就是在这家Haven Delights...

I have been living in this lovely island for five years
and definitely I enjoy here a lot especially the foods...
Even though not every restaurant or mamak stall cooks super delicious food
but at least it doesn't taste bad~

Today I want to share one of the restaurants named Heaven Delight
which breaks my records and forces me to write a bad review on it...
It's bad to do so but I think this is one of the way to keep the restaurant owner aware of customers' response towards their food quality...
But the way, this is just my experience and it doesn't means all of the customers having this kind of experiences~

只能说食材是挺吸引人的，
但厨师的功力真的是惨不忍睹...
先看看他们的menu吧~

I could say that the ingredients are attractive
but I have no idea why the chef of the restaurant can be a chef?!
Let's take a look at the Menu~

有三文鱼、mentis prawn,羊肉、寿司、scallop等等...
看起来是蛮吸引人的...
但是食物出来后，
只能用失望两个字来形容...

Salmon, Mentis prawn, lamb, sushi, scallop and so on...
That's attractive...
However, it comes to our disappointment when the food is served...

这是在buffet session那里拿的...
能想象吗，用手指头都可以数出来有几样食物...

Just imaging a buffet session with types of food
that you can count with your ten fingers

我的朋友走了一圈后只带了一碗炒饭回来...
这种情景我还是第一次看到...
本来还不相信，
自己去走了一圈才发现应该差不多只有十样菜色...
我晕~这是第一个失望...

没关系，想说还可以点menu上的食物...
哇~salmon, mentis prawn, lamb,scallop...
这些都是必点的！充满着期待...

Seriously, after my friend take a walk to the buffet session and she comes back with a plate of fried rice...
I just can't believe it... What happened to her today? A big question mark~
When it's my turn to walk around at the buffet session,
there are less than 10 dishes to be chosen and this is the first disappointment...

Well, I tell myself we still can order others food from menu~

Salmon Teriyaki
第一口，鱼腥味十足...
酱料又很油腻..
算了，还有别道~

The first bite make me feel yuck~
It  tastes disgusting as the salmon is not fresh
and the sauce is too oily!

Scallop + Mussels
又是第一次
有人可以把scallop煮到一点水分都不剩..
干干的...

Another first time experience I ever had,
scallop is over-cooked until totally dried up

我已经失去拍食物的耐性了...
所以接下来没再拍了...

其他食物的评语：
羊肉 - 我不知道自己是不是在吃橡胶...硬到咬不断...煮得过老...
Mentis Prawn - 每一碗平均三只，其他的都是面粉...而且炸的mentis prawn很臭油味...
寿司- 米饭太粘，没有日本醋该有的醋味，连最基本的米饭都没办法煮好...
Hand roll寿司- 紫菜皮软绵绵的，怎么吃？

Alright, I had lost my patience to take photo of the food anymore...
For other dishes,
Lamb - It's texture is just like rubber... over-cooked
Mantis Prawn - Eating more flour than mantis prawn...
Sushi - sushi rice without any vinegar taste and it is too sticky...
Hand roll sushi - Served with soft seaweed? herm...

好吧~真的算了...至少水果不关厨师的事了吧~
星期日，午餐时间，我们第一桌到...
过后还有两桌人...
我们也是最迟离开的...
这个lunch hour就是有我们三桌人，
但是当我们放弃食物想吃水果的时候，
才发现水果没有了...
太夸张了吧！

我和朋友们吃了第一道的Salmon后，
都不约而同地说了一句：“No second time!"
可想而知有多糟糕...

We dare not to try anymore of the food after ordering the above mentioned dishes...
At least fruit is not prepared by the chef, right?
The day we went is lovely Sunday and we reached as the first table of customers during the lunch time...
I managed to count there are 3 table of customers in total...
But when we try to get some fruits to fill up our stomach and we find the fruit session is empty...
To me that's really ridiculous...

After all of these experiences, we look at each others and come out with the same sentence~
"No more second time!"

总结Conclusion

食物Food: 3/10 

价钱Price:?/10 (I have no idea what ranking to give even it's in half price, RM30 with this kind of food)

环境Ambiance: 7/10

服务Service: 5/10
